[Ethiopian Herald] Nervous Condition is a novel written by Zimbabwean writer Tsitsi Dangarembga in 1988, and it is situated in imagined Rhodesia. Nervous Conditions derives its title from Jean-Paul Sartre's renowned introduction to Frantz Fanon's The Wretched of the Earth (1961), which states that 'The colonial condition is a nervous condition'.
