[Afropop] Rockin' Dopsie Jr. (born David Rubin) is the son of Zydeco legend, accordionist, singer, composer and bandleader Rockin' Dopsie, who died in 1993 after a spectacular career in music. Dopsie Jr. eventually took the helm of his father's band, The Twisters, now called the Zydeco Twisters, and he's just out with a new album, More Fun With Rockin' Dopsie Jr. and the Zydeco Twisters (ATO Records).
